Abstract [eng] In a relatively short period of time, China has made a phenomenal economic leap forward and became one of the most important global economic players. The growth of foreigh trade, huge investments, large-scale production, the development of new technologies - all of this characterize today's.China as the second largest economy in the world, as well as the largest trade country. Every country is interested in becoming aware of the impact of China's rising economy. Currently, the EU and Chinese economic interaction is one of the most important aspects of mutual relations. Since 2004, EU has become the largest trade partner of China. China and the EU together account for one third of the world GDP. In recent years, the EU-China trade volume has increased. China is the EU's second trading partner. From 2004 to 2014 China's imports of goods have increased of 4,6 times and exports increased more than 8 times. How much is EU dependant on the Chinese export? What are the opportunities and trends in EU-China trade relations?
