Although the evaluation of economic activity in companies isn‘t new, but it‘s important and relevant to every company. The evaluation made of a company‘s economic efficiency can identify it‘s current condition and if used it can profoundly improve performance. Such information is used in the banking sector, stock market and is crucial for CEOs. The abundance of different methods and research on the subject just confirms it‘s importance. Every company who wishes to get ahead of its competitors, reach its goals and thrive must evaluate itself in the present market.. Companies which do the evaluations periodically are less likely to declare bankruptcy and more likely to fullfill their vision. The object of the research: Lithuanian strong alcoholic beverage company SC Vilniaus degtinė economic activity‘s efficiency The aim of the research - evaluation of economic activity efficiency in a company of Lithuanian strong alcoholic beverages industry. The tasks of the research are: 1. To analyze the importance of strong alcoholic beverages companies efficiency evaluation. 2. To analyze the theoretical aspects of evaluating companies economic activity‘s efficiency. 3. To display the methodology of a company‘s economic activity efficiency research. 4. To evaluate the economic activity efficiency in a company of Lithuanian strong alcoholic beverages industry. In this masters work the evaluation of economic activity efficiency in a company of Lithuanian strong alcoholic beverages industry was achieved. Market analysis was made to understand the specifity of strong alcoholic beverages industry. Various models of economic activity‘s evaluation and bankruptcy were discussed in the second part. Then methodology was selected for the next part. Master‘s empirical part analyzes and evaluates the JST Vilniaus degtinė economic efficiency of 2011-2015 year period using financial indicators and also evaluates the probability of bankruptcy. |
