Ceos in Lithuania rarely invest in corporate social responsibility. Economic difficulties causes the understanding that financial resources could be used more efficiently. However, examples of international practice prove that businesses that invest in CSR are more profitable and their existence tends to last longer. The lack of business investment in CSR in Lithuania is becoming a problem. In order to learn about the causes of the current situation, it’s important to analyse several different topics: Is it useful to invest in CSR? What kind of method should be used to evaluate economic benefits? What kind return can be expected as a result of investment in CSR? |
