In a world of fast-paced and aggressive competition and complex economic challenges, the coherence and focus of a team working towards strategic goals is a major advantage in the business world. It is these qualities that allow each team member to be more motivated, resilient and psychologically secure in the decisions required by a changing and globalised world, or even a global crisis. In a cohesive team, team members believe more strongly in their own success and are more productive and persistent in achieving challenging goals. Research has shown that the emotional climate of a team interacts with the emotional intelligence of the team leader and influences the job satisfaction of team members. |
