Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology allows users to control the density of the models varying parameters of the volume filling. Therefore, during the FDM production process the produced structure of prototypes is porous. The variation of product features resisting the deformation under the flexural load will be analysed in this paper. During the experiment, soaked in rezin by vacuum samples were produced from the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polylactic acid (PLA), and the analysis of their destructive bending strength was performed according to ISO 178 (2003) standard. The conclusions which define the results, implications of the analysis and recommendations of the future research were performed in this paper. |
