| Abstract [eng] |
Two different types of passive engineering systems were researched: green roofs and solar shades. Theoretical and practical work already done by researches were used to get a point of view on the topic itself. Cooling energy load comparison between green roof and simple roof was made by using Lithuanin reglamentations, further on by using energy sertification program NRG3 solar shades were compared. Taking into account the researched made, appropriate HVAC systems were choisen to lower the cooling load of the building. |
