Abstract [eng] |
Economic, social, and demographic changes have a significant impact on the employees’ careers. These changes are forcing both the employers, and the employees to constantly improve their qualifications and adapt to the always changing environment. Employees of different generations have a variety of working methods, values, interests, communication styles and work ethics, but must work together as one team toward common goals of the organization. The organization has a competitive advantage if it succeeds to create an environment in which the employees of different generations work as a team and show their strengths. Therefore an important task is to introduce a career management model for the employees of different generations that reflects the organization's employees’ needs and career expectations, taking into account their varied interests, motivations and training methods. |
