Topicality of the theme. The contemporary business world is conditioned by constant changes those develop the kind of environment, where the success of an organization depends on lots of constituents – communication between managers and employees, close cooperation; partnership, psychological climate in an organization, staff education, application of managerial tools, etc. The greater attention in business organizations is paid to the application of managers’ roles, which aid at the identification of present and at the formation of future competitive advance resources as well as to strengthen cooperation among the staff in an organization. Thesis object is the impact of the manager‘s role on the cooperation. Thesis aim – to analyze the intercourse of the manager‘s roles and employees‘ cooperation in Lithuanian enterprises. Thesis objectives: to disclose the employees‘ cooperation peculiarities in an organization; to analyze the manager‘s role in the process of cooperation; to describe the manager‘s roles those strengthen the employees‘ cooperation and to assess the intercourse peculiarities of the manager‘s roles and employees‘ intercooperation in business enterprises in an empirical way.. Key thesis outcomes. The analysis in the scientific literature enables the statement that the basis of the cooperation consists of interrelationship, communication and cooperation that condition intercourse, exchange of information, knowledge and competences, foster focus and adjustment of human efforts for the solution of social issues and the implementation of common targets. The benefit of cooperation in organizations is based on an individual level as it fosters to complete the intended work, professional development faster and improves microclimate in organizations. In order to ground the statements introduced in terms of the scientific literature there was completed research that proved that cooperation is useful as it provides with an opportunity to learn from each other and it fosters professional development. The research outcomes reveal that a manager is interested and values the staff proposals; however, he allows his employees to choose to solve problems independently slightly less. It is determined that during the strengthening of employees’ cooperation in the organization, the assignment supplier’s and motivator’s roles are more valued than a vision designer’s or analyst’s ones.
