A process optimization procedure based on the response surface methodology is modeled, which includes the planning of factor experiments, the identification of a statistical model, and the evaluation of the optimal response point to investigate the influence of experimental errors and experimental design on optimization accuracy. Using the reaction surface methodology, the optimization results for the estimated experimental errors and various ranges of factor variations in the factor experiments are investigated, and the confidence intervals of the optimal point estimates and their accuracy are determined. |
