Abstract [eng] |
The object of the final project – fuel supply systems. The main goal of the project is to investigate the influence of different fuel supply systems on engine power, fuel consumption and harmful emissions. The project consists of four chapters: In Chapter 1 a review of the scientific literature of foreign and Lithuanian authors is made, which analyzes and compares the influence of different liquefied petroleum gas and gasoline supply systems on engine power, exhaust gas and fuel consumption. In Chapter 2 capabilities, differences, and requirements for an engine gasoline supply system are described for two most popular liquefied petroleum gas supply systems. Chapter 3 analyzes the need for a universal spark ignition engine control unit; fuel supply calculation methods and engine control options. In Chapter 4 real-time studies using petrol and different liquefied petroleum gas supply systems per car are made to compare engine fuel consumption, power, and harmful exhaust emissions. |
