Abstract [eng] |
This paper examines the impact of the growth in the number of electric vehicles and different charging methods on the price of electricity in Lithuania in 2030. An analysis of the future development of electric vehicles, their possible impact on electricity and the market price has been performed, as well as the peculiarities of the Lithuanian electricity system have been singled out and similar studies have been reviewed. In order to find out the influence of electric vehicles on the price of electricity in Lithuania in 2030, an optimization model was developed, with different quantities of electric vehicles and different charging possibilities. The results show that as the number of electric cars increases, so does the price of electricity, especially when using conventional charging, but this choice can be reduced by choosing smart or V2G charging methods. |
