Communication of Art Education Innovations in Social Media. The relevance and the novelty of the research - the unconventional pandemic situation led to changes in educators’ activities that required a rapid and critical approach to paradigm shift. Unplanned extreme distance learning has encouraged art educators to find ways to successfully transfer lessons and activities to distance learning. One of the main sources where educators searched for useful online tools during the pandemic was social media, where other educators communicate about educational innovations suitable for use in art education lessons. Art education is characterized by a constant need for innovation and the activity of a teacher itself constantly requires changes and innovations. Research object - communication of educational innovations on social media. Research methods - analysis of scientific literature and documents, analysis of social media. The methods of data processing - discourse. Content analysis was used to investigate what kind of educational innovations are communicated by art education teachers on social media. Objectives of the research – 1) to reveal theoretical insights on the communication of educational innovations in social media, 2) to examine the peculiarities of art education in the context of distance education, 3) to substantiate the research methodology of the communication features of educational innovations in social media for teachers of art education, 4) to identify the communication features of educational innovations in social media for teachers of art education. The results of the study revealed that communication of innovation through social media can take place through engagement, chatting forums, online face-to-face communication, by following trends, collaborating. In order to meet the requirements of the general program or to achieve certain goals, distance education teachers had to use educational innovations that would enrich the lessons with interactive tasks. Educators communicate about innovations that do not require special skills or extra time. Social media and seminars mainly communicate about those educational innovations that are related to music and art lessons. Art education teachers share general digital educational innovations that can be applied in art education lessons. Social media and seminars communicate such educational innovations that are designed to complement teaching / learning methods or provide feedback to ensure clear assessment. This paper consists of: introduction, four parts (2 parts for scientific literature and documents analysis, methodological substantiation and completed research), conclusions, literature and source list with 72 sources, 5 tables, 56 images.
