Abstract [eng] |
The document describes a system that allows individuals without programming skills to independently create augmented reality applications through real-time interaction. The purpose of the application is to extend the physical expositions, not to replace them. This is achieved by the use of additional virtual physical exposition information and interaction with it. The application software architecture is designed to create repetitive augmented reality components. As there are currently no systems in Lithuania that would enable educational staff to create virtual content without the intervention of an IT specialist and thus present new teaching materials, this is the first and so far, the only augmented reality application of a similar type that allows incentivization of virtual contextual content. The “Analytical Part” section of the document presents existing augmented reality mapping solutions and key issues, as well as user input and output methods. The "Design Part" section of the document provides architectural and requirements specifications. The section “Research Part” describes 3 planned and implemented system researches, where the hypothesis is raised and substantiated, as well as the research process, results, limitations and threats, and research conclusions are described. |
