Abstract [eng] |
Growing competition, a growing customer base around the world, and ever-increasing logistics costs are forcing companies to look for new ways to improve their processes. Efficient logistics processes not only ensure lower costs for companies, but also directly affect how the company is able to meet the expectations of its customers to receive products on time and where they are needed. Logistics process management is focused on process development, control and analysis. There are various methodologies for how new processes can be developed, but the improvement of existing processes remains essential. When creating new or improving existing processes, their continuity remains paramount. When working with processes, a process map is first created and the related links are identified. This ensures the involvement of all stakeholders involved in the process and the search for the best solution. The aim of this work is to suggest to the manufacturing company, through literary and empirical research, possible changes in logistics processes. The aim is to improve the company's performance and create a competitive advantage in the market. Following the survey, a process map was drawn up and interviews were conducted. Thanks to it, an important process of the company has been identified, the changes of which may have a positive impact on various departments of the company. After evaluating the change of the process and the impact on the efficiency of the company's operations, generalized conclusions about the changes are presented. |
