Abstract [eng] The final master’s thesis aim is to reveal the links between organisational culture and job satisfaction in educational institutions of Panevėžys district. The analysis of scientific literature revealed the importance of organizational culture in the management of human resources by various types of organisations, development of srategy, aiming for uniqueness and quality of service. Organizational culture is consciously created and understood by managers as a whole of values and beliefs, helping to achieve the goals set, influencing the internal processes of the organisation, meeting the individual needs of employees and strengthening their job satisfaction. Workplace environment, employee and management communication, development opportunities, teamwork are equally important as elements of organizational culture and factors of job satisfaction, so that their bargaining ensures the success of employees and the organisation. The object of the thesis: links between organizational culture and job satisfaction. The aim of the thesis: to reveal the links between organisational culture and job satisfaction in educational institutions of Panevėžys district. To achieve this aim following task were set 1. to discover the concepts of organizational culture and job satisfaction and the content of these phenomena; 2. to find out the trends of organisational culture elements and employees’ job satisfaction in the organisation; 3. to evaluate the interlinkages between organizational culture and job satisfaction in educational institutions of Panevėžys district. The subjects of the study were 168 teachers and educators of educational institutions in Panevėžys district. An anonymous online survey was conducted using the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) questionnaire and the organisational culture questionnaire prepared by author of the thesis. The statistics obtained were processed by SPSS 28.0.1.0 (142) computer program using descriptive statistics methods. The results revealed that organizational culture is important and significant for the educators of the district. The opportunity to improve their qualifications through various trainings, the values of schools and the ability to work in a specific institution were most appreciated. The analysis of the results showed that the competent managers, co-workers and direct work of educational institutions are the main contributors to the job satisfaction of teachers. Statistically significant average and weak links were revealed in the interrelationship between organisational culture and work satisfaction. Job satisfaction relationships have a frail correlation with all elements of the organisational culture, while the average strength relationship was established only when assessing the links between leadership and organisational cultural assets and attitudes to work. The results show that socio-demographic factors are the main contributors to the job satisfaction of teachers, while the factors of organisational culture are influenced only by working experience. The study revealed that there are frail and medium-strength links between organizational culture and employee job satisfaction in educational institutions of Panevėžys district.
